Special Virtuosi Summer Concert on Thursday 25th June at 7.30pm at
Royal Northern College of Music, Manchester.
Come and join us at the Royal Northern College of Music for an entertaining evening of music! Students from Special Virtuosi will perform solo and orchestral repertoire alongside their tutors, including Wallace and Grommit and other favourites. Then join in for the second half, as we introduce instruments of the orchestra and have some fun! There will be many surprises in store…and don’t forget to buy a raffle ticket!

"Welcome to Special Virtuosi, a music group which was set up in December 2006 to provide music provision to people with special needs. As a team of experienced musicians and teachers, we are all aware of the essential life skills that can be learned by working regularly with music. Music is a language understood by everyone, and can help children and adults develop communication and interpersonal skills, coordination and discipline, as well as being a great source of fun! We believe that it is vital that musical opportunities are available to people of all ages and abilities.
Through our workshops and private tuition, we are working step by step to guide our students towards the benefits of learning through music. We have all been delighted that our groups have attracted students of various ages, musical abilities and with various educational needs, and we look forward to the possibility of sharing our work with you in the future."
